Scholarships and Awards

  • [February 2011] Research Grant provided by the Italian Ministry of Education, University, and Research for a six month research period in People’s Republic of China. The research focus on disruptive and reverse innovation from emerging economies (China) and will be carried on at the Research Center for Global R&D Management (GLORAD) at Tongji University, under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Max von Zedtwitz.
  • [September 2010] Scholarship for the participation at the 20th European Doctoral Summer School on Technology Management provided by EIASM –European Institute for Advanced Studies in Management.
  • [December 2009] Awarded by Associazione Toscana-Cina Insieme (Tuscany and China Together) for the best master thesis on relations between Italy and China.
  • [October 2009] Full three year scholarship for the attendance of the PhD Programme in Management: Innovation, Service and Sustainability
  • [January 2009] Awarded with “Municipality of Prato Scholarship” for his master thesis. The aim of the scholarship was to “ financially support outstanding students working on complex thesis project”.

My doctoral research deals with the internationalization of firms’ R&D activities in China. In particular I am interested in analyzing global innovation in business to business industries generated from Chinese market inputs.
