  • Since October 2014: PhD Student in "Management- Innovation, Sustainability and Healthcare" at Scuola Superiore Sant’Anna, Pisa (Italy) 
  • Since December 2010 to April 2014: M.Sc. in BioMedical Engineering at University of Pisa (Italy), specialization in Bioinstrumentation and Bioinformatics. Thesis on Management of Innovation under the PRIN project, title: "Health Technology Assessment of the Da Vinci Master Slave Manipulator in Italy". Final score: 110/110 Magna cum laude.  
  • December 2010: B.Sc. in BioMedical Engineering at University of Pisa (Italy), specialization in IT. Thesis: "Biomechanical Model of the Ossicular Chain of the Human Middle Ear". Final evaluation: 110/110.

OTHER EDUCATIONAL EXPERIENCES
  • Collaboration with the Institute of Management of Scuola Superiore Sant'Anna on two research projects (in parallel to my university studies): economic dimension of chronic renal failure and economic dimension of bariatric surgery.  
  • Design and implementation of an automatic tool using Python to identify peaks in the polymorphism analysis, carried out at Department of Engineering IT of Pisa's University in collaboration with CNR's marine biologists.  

 

RESEARCH INTERESTS
  • My research field is the Management of Innovation, in particular the Health Technology Assessment, and my research interests focus on management and economical aspects of the biomedical technology innovation (end-products and prototypes).  Also identifying, developing and testing new economic and informatics methodologies to reach this aim.
